Welcome
My name is Michelle Fenton
My name is Michelle Fenton and I am excited to be a Harvey Shark! I live in Ellenton with my dogs, Pandora and Rory. I have two older sisters, Bethany and Leah. I have one niece, Savannah, and two nephews, Caleb and Jonah.
I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina and have lived in Florida for over 20 years. I grew up in the Manatee County School District and graduated from USF Sarasota-Manatee with a Bachelor’s Degree In Elementary Education in 2011. I taught first, second, and third grade with EBD and ESE inclusion at Moody Elementary for seven years before graduating with my Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019. I also became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2019.
I’ve spent the last four years working at a non-profit. I started teaching special education then lead a team of behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians. As much as I loved it, I have wanted to get back into the classroom at a school that truly puts children first. I am grateful to call Barbara A. Harvey Elementary my new school home and build a great school year with my new friends.
